{Mother's Day gift}

Vihdoin voin julkaista tämän taulun jonka tein yhdessä 1,5 vuotiaan siskonpojan kanssa {siskolleni} äitienpäivälahjaksi. Maalasin Leon käden sinisellä akryylivärillä ja autoin painamaan kädenjälki paperille, olisin tehnyt molemmista käsistä jäljen mutta Leo oli sitä mieltä, että yksi riitti. Tulostin {Silhouetella} vinyylistä tekstin ja kiinnitin sitä {Ikeasta} ostetun Ribba kehyksen lasiin.

At last I can show you what I did for my {sister} with my 17 month old nephew for Mother's Day. I painted Leo's hand with blue acrylic paint and helped him make a handprint. I would have liked to make a handprint of both his hands but he was done after one. I cut out the text from vinyl using my {Silhouette} and added it to the glass of a {Ikea} Ribba frame.

{Deconstructed Sketch No.100}

{Deconstructed Sketch} on saavuttanut 100 luonnoksen rajapyykin ja pakkohan siihen oli osallistua kun kerran voitin luonnos numero ykkösen. Tykkään muutenkin näistä luonnoksista ja haen sieltä usein inspiraatiota. Tämä kortti on niin sanottu {joy fold}, erittäin yksinkertainen mutta tekee siitä kuitenkin vähän jotain enemmän kuin pelkän kortin. Tämä kyseinen kortti on meidän läskikerhon painonpudotusryhmän vetäjälle kiitokseksi tästä 12 viikon yhteisestä matkasta. Kuva on {Tiddly Inkin} tipuset, alkuperäiseen kuvaan olen lisännyt muutaman linnun koska meitä linnunpoikia on ryhmässä 14. Tämä on yksi syy siihen miksi pidän digileimoista, usein saat enemmän kuin pelkän yhden leiman, kuten tässäkin niin yksittäisiä tipuja kuuluu hintaan. Olen sitten {Silhouetten}ohjelman avulla lisännyt lintuja kuvaan ja tulostanut.

It's time for sketch number 100 over at {Deconstructed Sketch} and of course I'll have to take part in this challenge since I'm the winner of sketch number 1! :) I really like Jen's sketches and I tend to look for inspiration in the blog. For this challenge I have made a {joy-fold} card which is really simple to make but brings a little extra to the card. I have used a {Tiddly Ink} digital stamp and using my {Silhouette} program added a few birds to the original stamp.

{Craftroom}

Tässä nyt pieni kuvakollaasi askarteluhuoneestani. Itse olen tähän tällä hetkellä todella tyytyväinen. Huoneen ikkunanpokat maalataan kesällä valkoiseksi samoin kuin Silhoueten alla oleva "lisätyötaso". Työpöydän ääreen ostetaan jonkun sorttinen satulatuoli ja pienemmän Expedit hyllyn tilalle tulee lepotuoli ja hylly siirtyy retro mankelini alle. Löydätkö kissani?

Here is some pictures from my craft room. Next summer I will paint the window frames white as well as the extended "table" under my Silhouette. I'm also gonna buy me some kind of saddle chair and a new armchair. The armchair will go where I now have the smaller Expedit shelf and the shelf will be moved under my retro mangle. Can you spot my cat?

{A beautiful mess}

Vihdoin olen saanut askarteluhuoneen valmiiksi, mahdollisesti lisätään vielä yksi tuoli mutta sitä joutuu vielä hetken pohtimaan. Kuvia tulossa viikonlopun aikana. Nyt kun kaikki tarvikkeet ovat löytäneet paikkaansa alkaa ehkä korttituotankokin pikku hiljaa elpymään. Tilasin huoneeseen tällaisen ihanan julisteen, sopii minusta mainiosti askarteluhuoneeseen.  Juliste tilattu verkkokaupasta nimeltä Walldesign.

Finally I have completed my craft room make-over. I might still add a chair but I'm not sure about that. I'll add some pictures later this week. Now that all of my craft supplies have find their own place maybe I can get some cards made again. I ordered this lovely artwork for my room, quite a striking expression don't you think? I orderd this wall art from a Finnish store called Walldesign.

{Deconstructed Sketch No.88}

Tällaisella kortilla mukana tämän viikkoisessa {Deconstructed Sketch} haasteessa. Siksakki paperi on ihanaa {Studio Calicon} ja suloinen noita on {Wee Stampin} digileimasin. Kukkia ei ollut oikean värisiä joten väritin muutaman valkoisen ruusun Copiceilla, lopputuloksesta tuli oikein hyvä.

Taking part in this weeks {Deconstructed Sketch} with this Easter card. The chevron patterned paper is by {Studio Calico} and the cute little witch named Hazel is a digstamp by {Wee Stamp}. I didn't have the right colored flowers for this card so I made some white roses the right color by coloring them with Copics, turned out great.

{Tiddly Ink Challenge - Love is in the air}

Sain ystävältä hääkortti tilauksen. Pyydän usein kuvaamaan kortin saajaa jotta tietäisin hieman minkälaista korttia lähden tekemään. Tällä kertaa kuvaus kuului, hän on taiteellinen, vaalea ihminen joka rakastaa {Rivièra Maison} huonekaluja ja sisustusjuttuja. Koska tilaaja on minulle erittäin tärkeä ihminen halusin panostaa ehkä hitusen enemmän tähän korttiin ja tavallisen avattavan kortin sijaan tein kortin {matchbook} taitoksella. Tovoittavasti sekä tilaaja että saaja ihastuvat korttiin. Osallistun kortilla {Tiddly Ink} haasteeseen.

A friend of mine asked me if I could make her a wedding card. Before I start making a card I tend to ask a little about the person that's gonna get the card. The bride that is gonna get this card is an artistic, blonde/light person and she loves {Rivièra Maison}. I wanted this card to be a little special because my friend that ordered this is very special to me. So instead of just making a regular card I chose to make the card with a {matchbook} fold. I hope both my friend and the bride&groom likes the card. I'm takin part in this weeks {Tiddly Ink} challenge with this card.

{Deconstructed Sketch No.86}

Taas olen mukana tämän viikkoisessa {Deconstructed Sketch} haasteessa. Tykkäsin kovasti synttärikortista jonka tein aiemmin, postaus {täällä} joten jatkettiin hieman samoilla linjoilla. Ompelukonetta on nykyään helpommin käyttää kun sillä on nyt oma paikka ja on siinä valmiina koko ajan, ei tarvitse erikseen nostaa esille joka kerta kun haluaa jotain omella. Leikkasin eri kokoisia ympyröitä ja kohokuvioin kahdella eri kohokuviointitaskulla, päällimmäinen sydänkin sain matkan Big Shotin läpi. ympyrät on kiinnitetty eri tasoihin 3D tarroilla.

Again a card for the {Deconstructed Sketch}challenge. I liked the card I made earlier, you can find the post {here} so I made a similar using this weeks sketch. Since my sewing machine now have it's own place on the desk I think I will be using it a lot more, no need to make room for it every time I want to sew something. I cut different sized circles and dry embossed them with two different embossing folders, also the heart on top was embossed. I attached the circles with different sized mounting pads.

{Whiff of Joy - Favourite colors&lace}

Askarteluhuoneessa syntyy tällä hetkellä kortteja kuin liukuhihnalla. Siellä onkin ollut hiljaista jo niin kauan että en valita, hauskaahan tämä on vaikka muu kotihan tässä hieman kärsiikin. Kuitenkin tämän kertaisessa {Whiff of Joy} haasteessa aiheena lempivärit ja pitsiä, ja siihen sitten tällä kortilla osallistun. Uudet "All for the boys" leimasimet pyörivät askartelupöydällä niin korttiin pääsi tämä hauska poika vespalla. Vespan värittäminen tuotti hieman päänvaivaa mutta ihan OKhan tuosta sitten tuli. Pitsiäkään ei kyllä kovin paljon kortissa ole, toivotaan että kelpaa. :)

It has been quiet in my craft room for some time now but at the moment I feel I've got back my mojo. It's fun and I'm not complaining but I have to admit that the rest of our home could sure need some TLC. Anyhow, this weeks challenge at {Whiff of Joy} is to use your favorite colors and lace. These new stamps from "All for the boys" have been lying on my table so this cute vespa boy ended up on my card. It wasn't the easiest thing coloring the vespa but I'm pleased with the result. There's not a lot of lace either but I hope there's still enough. :)

{Tiddly Inks Challenge - Wings}

Tällä viikolla {Tiddly Inks Challengissä} on haasteena siivet. Avasin tämän digileimasimen {Silhouette Cameossani}, lisäsin yhden linnun ja kirjaimet. Kuten olen aikaisemmin kertonut, en erityisemmin tykkää värittää eläimiä mutta nämä linnut voivat mielestäni olla melko lailla minkä värisiä tahansa.

This weeks challenge over at {Tiddly Ink} is wings. I opened this digi stamp in my {Silhouette Cameo}, added one bird and the letters. As I have told you, I don't feel comfortable coloring animals but I think these birds can be pretty much any color.

{P*skarteluhaaste#172}

Pitkästä aikaa mukana {P*skarteluhaasteessa} jossa tällä kertaa haasteena valkoinen+ yksi väri. Olen {Pinterestin} ihmeellisessä maailmassa nähnyt tämän tyylisiä kortteja ja tauluja, pienellä vaivalla saa näyttävän kortin aikaisekis. Leikkasin {Silhouettella} valkoisesta Basic kartongista 18 sydäntä josta puolet teippasin kraft kartonki palaan. Loput 9 kohokuvioin {Cuttelbugin} polkadot kohokuviointitaskulla ja ompelin kiinni. Vielä valkoinen kehys ja koko komeus 3D-tarroilla 12*12cm korttipohjaan kiinni.

Taking part in this weeks {P*skarteluhaaste} where the challenge is to use white and one other color  I've seen cards and wall art using this technique on {Pinterest} and it is a quick and easy way to make a stunning card. I used my {Silhouette] to cut out 18 hearts, 9 I glued to a piece of craft cardstock and the other 9 I embossed with {Cuttlebug} polkadot embossingfolder.
